Hybrid and composite Timber-to-Steel structures

Why participate?

This exclusive event is a unique opportunity to connect with industry leaders and experts in timber, steel, and hybrid structures. The aim is to discuss, brainstorm and do a workshop on the future of the hybrid structures.

University researchers will present the latest findings, experienced designers will share real-world case studies, and CEOs will discuss their strategic visions.

You will keep up with insights into the latest structural innovations, learn about cutting-edge solutions, and engage in hands-on workshops.

Duration: 16 hours

Location: Rothoblaas Headquarters

Target

This seminar is for designers, architects, structural engineers and hybrid construction enthusiasts seeking to create significant relationships within the sector. It is a chance to stay updated on the latest construction trends and technologies on the market, brainstorm new solutions and discuss the vision for the future of hybrid and composite timber-to-steel structures.

Content and focus

The timber sector is in constant and fast growth. There are always new technical solutions to respond to the market requests.

During the workshop, we will focus on hybrid structures, discussing technical details, advantages and potential, R&D and optimization for timber-to-steel hybrid structures.

New technologies are also capturing the interest of major steel manufacturer, who will be present to share their future vision for hybrid timber market and discuss technical solutions already tested on site.

As usual, new construction technologies need innovative connections. We will analyse connections for hybrid solutions to achieve resistance and optimization, fire resistance, construction tolerances, speed on-site and demountability.

There will be plenty of opportunities to explore and discuss the future of timber hybrid construction, along with a tour of Rothoblaas’ new automated warehouse.

Invitation package

Participation is free, accommodation is organised by Rothoblaas but not included in the package.
Throughout the day and during the evening dinners you will have the opportunity to share your experiences and network with the other participants and industry experts.

The travel and transport must be organised autonomously.
